Serious Business - Stillwater & Twin Cities Senior Photographer

Caroline and I got together again last weekend for a second round of senior photos (you may remember her from this post). Her first session was full of smiles and not too many serious expressions because, really, she's just full of smiles and that is what comes naturally. We put ourselves to the challenge of trying to capture a few serious photos. It was a challenge but we really had fun during the session, no smiles and all!

It must be close to Halloween we kept hearing things in the woods behind us!

I LOVED this field and the giant tree in the background I could have shot there all day. Add in the wonderful pop of color in her shirt and you get a perfect location!Thanks for joining me for a second session. It was fun!

Let us know what your think of her serious side. Even though smiles are definitely her I think she can pull off this look too!

Mr. Blue Eyes - Lakeland, MN & Twin Cities Baby Photographer

At 6 months old Jack is ready for baseball with his Twins uniform, glove and mini bat. Now he just has to learn to walk and he'll be ready for the big leagues. Watch out Joe Mauer we've got a new Twin's player coming!

After changing into his second out fit Jack showed us that modeling really is hard work. He's the first baby that just crashed during a session. His dad was holding him for a few family shots and he was just smiling away. The next thing we knew (literally 2 seconds later) his head was on his shoulder and he was out like a light. There was nothing we could do to wake him!

It was a gorgeous October day so we snuck outside with a few photos with his grandma, grandpa, aunt and uncle who stopped by for the photo session. The fresh air was just enough to wake him up. He was happy as ever and ready for his last solo photos of the day!

Bubbly - Stillwater, MN and Twin Cities Baby Photographer

Emmy and her mommy stopped by for a quick 2 month session. I thought it would be fun to document each month to show what a difference it can make in timing newborn/baby portrait sessions. She couldn't be cuter... but I could be a tad bit prejudice. I would gladly photographer her every day so hopefully you won't mind seeing her on the blog often in the next year (or 18)!
