Evalyn - 6 months
I cant believe it has already been six months since I started photographing Evalyn. If you have been following the blog at all she is becoming a familiar face with all of the blog posts if not you can see images from her first two photo sessions here and here.

Everett- 5 days old | Stillwater, MN Newborn Photographer
I have known Everett's parents for quite sometime. I met his mom in our high school drafting class and his dad in junior high. I was very excited to meet this little guy. And even more excited when his parents told me they wanted to get pictures of him when he was just a few days old. Everett is the "newest" baby I have photographed. While he stayed curled for longer periods of time then other babies I have photographed he loved lifting his head up, kicking and waving his arms around and even rolling himself over. All at only 5 days old!
I also have to share a few quick snap shots. I got to visit all three of them when they were still at the hospital. Here is Everett and me when he is just a few hours old. Don't worry his parents will make an appearance on the blog in a few days. Everett in his car seat. Can you believe how tiny he is!?
Check back in a couple of days to see the second session we did of family photographs when he was just 1 week old.

Baby E- 3 months
This blog post is long overdue! In a few weeks we have her 6 month session. Time has just flown by this summer. I hope you have been able to get outside and enjoy the end of summer. You may recognize Baby E from this post when she was just 3 weeks old. You will continue to see her for her first year as part of our Baby Plan.

She wasn't really into tummy time the day of our shoot but didn't fuss much at all. I happened to catch this split second little squeal she let out.
We took a quick break for her to eat and then it was time to cuddle up with her teddy bear and finish the session with a little nap.

Taylor- 1 Year Old | Afton, MN Children's Photographer
I got together with Taylor and her parents on a gorgeous August morning at her Great Grandparents house. We spent the morning playing in the gardens and then dancing in the driveway before it was time for me to leave. Thank you for lettting us take over your house for the morning! It was a great location!
I had a great time. Thank you for letting me photograph Taylor's one year portraits!
Taylor took to the family tradition of having their picture taken with this statue quite well. No tears for her! She quickly started holding the little boys hand and tried to play with the puppy!

Evan : 3 Year Portraits
I have been taking pictures of Evan every year since his first birthday (pre-blog days). I can't believe he is already 3! I always look forward to our sessions. Evan is full of energy and is always great in front of the camera. We headed down to the Boomsite in Stillwater for this years session. It was a great for him to play and just be a boy by splashing, stomping in the dirt and his favorite of the day throwing rock in the water.

We also spent a lot of time exploring, running and taking pictures in the cave. This is my favorite image of the day!
Evan is always full of energy and isn't usually a fan of sitting still for the camera. This is image was taken in the car on our way to get ice cream definitely his favorite part of the day. His family is now a fan of Nelson's Ice Cream Store in Stillwater where there the ice cream cones are the biggest around!
This won't be Evan's only appearance on the blog this year. Check back in the early fall for more pictures of Evan and the Meyer family when their new addition arrives. I can't wait for our next session and to meet the new baby!

Krista & Adam : Married
Krista and Adam's wedding was on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in June. Just days after our 90+ degree heat wave we couldn't have welcomed the warm day with clear skies and a breeze more! The wedding was held at the Nazareth Chapel on the campus of Northwestern College.
Krista and Adam opted for a first look before the wedding ceremony. It was such a sweet moment and they couldn't have been more excited to see each other.
I could have spent the entire day shooting the two of them around campus. We found so many great locations but were only able to spend time at a few of them.
Everyone who saw Krista and Adam together would mention they should be models in a wedding magazine. I would have to agree, don't you?

The ring bearers couldn't have been any cuter!
Both of their father's are pastors and officiated the ceremony together. It was wonderful to hear the family stories tied in to their message. I love this picture as it shows the emotion and love that everyone was feeling that day.
