Wendy & Steve: October 3, 2009

I've known Wendy since our first day of 10th grade. After hours in band and cheering on our high school football team, huddled together on the sidelines to stay warm, we became friends. I was so happy to add her wedding day to the many memories of I have with Wendy.

Ceremony - Trellis Wedding & Events
Reception - Water Street Inn
Hair - Just For Me
DJ - PM Enterprises
Cake - Fresh Fields Bakery
Flowers - Steve's Mom

Steve and Wendy's wedding was on a gorgeous fall day but true to Minnesota, and our colder than normal October, it included sun, wind, and rain. We were fortunate that the rain held off until the ceremony started as everything up to that point was outside without shelter. Everyone just huddled a little bit closer to stay warm!

Enough of me talking, let's get to the photos:

Seeing Wendy in her wedding dress was a very emotional moment for everyone in the room.

Wendy and Steve's first-look. This ended up being a quick moment before we started the family and wedding party photos.

I could have shot the bouquets all day long they were all gorgeous! Steve's mom did all of the wonderful flower arangements. The girls in the wedding party went to her house the day before the wedding to help with their own bouquets. What an awesome way to start the wedding festivities and really add a personalized touch!

With our without texture? I couldn't decide so I posted both, which do you like better? It may be hard to tell because of the size of the images on the blog but the image without texture is on the left and the image with texture is on the right.

The cake was beautiful AND delicious!

Everyone had a good time on the dance floor all night long!

This guy was the envy of everyone, young and old, on the dance floor. He had the all the moves!

This was the second wedding in a row that I got to dance after my time shooting was done. It's a great perk when you know the bride and groom... but usually causes some confusion with the wedding guests. When photographing receptions I find it difficult not to jump in and start dancing!

Wendy and Steve thank you for having me be a part of your wedding day.

Charlie & Michelle: September 24, 2009

Charlie and Michelle had a small, private ceremony on a perfect Thursday evening in September. In attendance were 12 family members. There reception was the following Saturday with all of their family and friends in attendance. I'll be short on words today so I can get their post up quickly. I know they have been waiting, patiently, to see their sneak peek.

Reception: Wild Mountain Ski & Snowboard's Banquet Room

Charlie and Michelle are both skiers so we had a fun opportunity to take a ride on the chair lifts to get some pictures. Unfortunately, we were separated by a chair but we still captured some fun photos.

A fun ride down the alpine slide. I missed out on going down the slide but the wedding party all looked like they had a great time!

Some fun at the reception!

I hope you all enjoyed the photos!

Krista & Adam : Married

Krista and Adam's wedding was on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in June. Just days after our 90+ degree heat wave we couldn't have welcomed the warm day with clear skies and a breeze more! The wedding was held at the Nazareth Chapel on the campus of Northwestern College.Krista and Adam opted for a first look before the wedding ceremony. It was such a sweet moment and they couldn't have been more excited to see each other.I could have spent the entire day shooting the two of them around campus. We found so many great locations but were only able to spend time at a few of them.Everyone who saw Krista and Adam together would mention they should be models in a wedding magazine. I would have to agree, don't you?The Girls:The Guys:The Wedding Party:The ring bearers couldn't have been any cuter! Both of their father's are pastors and officiated the ceremony together. It was wonderful to hear the family stories tied in to their message. I love this picture as it shows the emotion and love that everyone was feeling that day.I hope you guys enjoyed your honeymoon in Hawaii! Krista, I also hope you're starting to find your way around California! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
